Irresistible Puff Pastry Cruffins 

Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar
– 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
– 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
– 2 cups of puff pastry dough
– 1/2 cup of chocolate chips (optional)
– 1/4 teaspoon of salt
– Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Get those ovens ready for some magic!

2. Roll out the puff pastry dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/8 inch thick.

3. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt until fully combined. This will be your sweet filling!

4. Spread the butter-sugar mixture evenly over the puff pastry.

5. If you’re adding chocolate chips, sprinkle them over the mixture now for an extra treat!

6. Roll the puff pastry tightly from the long edge into a log shape.

7. Slice the log into 12 equal pieces and arrange them in a greased muffin tin, with the swirl facing up.

8. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cruffins are golden brown and puffed up.

9. Once baked, remove from the oven and cool for a few minutes before toasting them with a light dusting of powdered sugar.

10. Enjoy your freshly baked cruffins warm, or let them cool for later. They’re great for sharing – or keeping all to yourself!
